Wake up in the morning have breakfast and get ready for your sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city. Transfer to Durbar Square, located near the Thamel. Explore Durbar Square with your guide, who shares the history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kathmandu Durbar square, located in the heart of the city, is significant in terms of history, arts and architecture. It consists of a huge royal square including variety of temples that were made in 15th century, dedicated to different Hindu gods and goddesses. Some of the important monuments to be seen in Kathmandu Durbar Square are Taleju temple, Kaal vairab, Kumari Bahal and Maju Deva Shiva Temple. A few buildings in the square were collapsed due to the damage of Nepal Earthquake on April 25, 2015. After revisiting ancient era, you move towards another marvelous heritage site, Swayambhunath stupa.

Swayambhu Nath stupa, located in a lovely hill rock, is one of the fascinating architectural jewels of the world. It represents a typical Buddhist architecture. There are 360 steps leading all the way to the top of the hill to the stupa. There are paintings of pairs of eyes on the four faces of the stupa. The smaller stupas and other monuments built around the Swayambhu Nath stupa speak a lot about the existence of Buddha. The place is more crowded in Buddha purnima, the birthday of Lord Buddha, which falls on the full moon of April-May.Alike Swayambhunath stupa about four miles from Kathmandu city lie the largest stupa in Nepal, Boudhanath.

Boudhanath Stupa (or Bodnath Stupa) is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism. The stupa is located in the town of Boudha, on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. After the Buddhists shrines you will visit Pashupatinath temple.

Pasupatinath is the national god of Nepal. Lord Pashupati is also known as the the Aradhya dev of Nepal. The temple of Pashupatinath is carved in every treaty, pledges, on a 5 rupees note and the royal coat of arms of Nepal.The temple of Pashupatinath lies at about 6 kilometer east of the center of Kathmandu. It is considered to be the oldest and the holiest temple of Lord Shiva. It is also listed on UNESCO world heritage site. There are 64 Shiva lingams of various sizes in the right side of the Shiva temple. Gold-painted images of guardian deities, Chaturmukha (four-faced statue), Chadeshvar (an inscribed Licchavi linga from the 7th century), Brahma Temple, Dharmashila (a stone where sacred oaths are taken), Arya Ghat, Gauri Ghat (holy bath), Pandra Shivalaya (15 shrines), Gorakhnath and Vishwarup Temples, Guhyeshwari (Guhjeshwari) Temple, Kirateshwar Mahadeva Mandir and Surya Ghat are main attractions in Pashupatinath area.
